Rain, Rain Come & Stay!
Morgan wasn’t going to let a little rain get in her way. She loved splashing and playing in her new raincoat and boots!

I want to be a butterfly….
We went to the Strawberry Festival here in Cornwall in June and they had a face painter there. Morgan asked to be painted like a butterfly. She was very good for the lady considering this was her first time getting her face painted. How cool is that!

Ben & Jerry’s Factory Tour
While my godmother was here we took her to the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream factory. It was delicious!

My Godmother’s Visit
My Godmother Georgia came to visit us for a month in June. She has been a long time friend of my mom’s over the years. Our families practicly grew up together. We even call her Aunt Georgia. Here are some photos of our visit.

Morgan’s 3rd Birthday Party
We had lots of friends and family over for Morgan’s 3rd Birthday. Her birthday party theme was Diego! It did end up a little on the chilly side but we all had a great time!

Nothin’ Like Lickin’ The Spoon!
I was baking cake or cookies one day back in May and Morgan helped me out. As a reward, she always gets to lick the spoon. It’s her favorite part!

A Visit From My Nephew
In April of this year, my nephew Mikey came to the East Coast for about a month. He stayed with my sister Athena in Groton, NY. Mikey is my older Michael’s son. They live in California. Mom, Morgan and I managed to visit him one weekend while he was here. We really enjoyed seeing him. It had been a few years since we saw him last! In the first picture we have Mikey and my niece Athena. My niece is also from California and is the daughter of my older sister Regina. My niece Athena lives in Groton, NY as well.

Happy Easter!
One of the fun things we did with Morgan this year was we had her leave carrots for the Easter bunny. She drew a picture for him and we wrote a thank you note on the picture to the Easter Bunny thanking him for coming to our house.

Dying Easter Eggs
Morgan did a great job helping me dye some Easter eggs. If you’ve never get the Dudley kit with the disposable cups, don’t! They were real flimsy and we spilt several cups while putting the eggs in. Use regular mugs or something!!

Some Fun Portraits
Morgan had these great little dresses so I decided to take some home portraits of her for springtime. It was fun watching her pose and be silly!

Nothing Better!
